The present invention relates to variants of a parent xyloglucanase. The present invention also relates to polynucleotides encoding the variant xyloglucanases and to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotide.

A non-naturally occurring variant of a parent xyloglucanase, which comprises a substitution at a position corresponding to position 68 of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 with H, L, M, or N, wherein
- (a) the variant has at least 95% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3;
- (b) the parent xyloglucanase is a family 44 xyloglucanase;
- and
- (c) the variant has xyloglucanase activity.
