Abstract
Disclosed are methods of treating inflammation within a synovial joint, comprising administering to the joint a composition comprising primed stem or progenitor cells in an amount effective to enhance recovery, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A method of treating inflammation in a synovial joint, comprising administering to the synovial joint a composition comprising stem or progenitor cells in an amount effective to enhance recovery, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein prior to the administration, the stem or progenitor cells are exposed to an inflammatory in vitro environment.
