Abstract
The present disclosure generally relates to filter media including glass fibers. The fiber characteristics (e.g., composition, dimensions) are selected to impart the desired solubility, filtration and mechanical properties so that the filter media may be used in the desired application.
Claims17
A filter media comprising:
- a fiber web including a plurality of glass fibers having an average diameter of less than about 3.0 microns, an alumina content of between about 0.5 wt % and about 10 wt %, a B2O3 content of greater than about 5.0 wt % and a BaO content greater than about 7.2 wt %.
