Fundus camera and control method for the fundus camera

A controlling apparatus for controlling an ophthalmologic apparatus, comprising:

• a determining unit for determining, based on an image signal which is output from a photographing unit, a light intensity of a light source;
• an adjustment unit for adjusting, in a fundus mode, a light intensity of the light source based on the determined light intensity;
• and
• a control unit for controlling, in an anterior ocular mode, the adjustment unit so as to manually adjust the light intensity of the light source.

A controlling method of controlling an ophthalmologic apparatus, the method comprising the steps of:

• determining, based on an image signal which is output from a photographing unit, a light intensity of a light source;
• adjusting, in a fundus mode, a light intensity of the light source based on the determined light intensity;
• and
• controlling, in an anterior ocular mode, the light intensity so as to manually adjust the light intensity of the light source.

A controlling method of controlling an ophthalmologic apparatus, the method comprising the steps of:

• determining, based on an image signal which is output from a photographing unit, at least one of a light intensity of an observation light source and a light intensity of a photographing light source which generates photographing light;
• adjusting, based on the determined light intensity, at least one of a light intensity of the observation light source and a light intensity of the photographing light source;
• and
• controlling the adjustment of the light intensity according to a selection of one of a plurality of modes including at least a fundus mode and an anterior ocular mode.
