Abstract
A multi-hole or cluster nozzle having several outlet openings for fluid to be atomized. The central longitudinal axes of at least two of the outlet openings are aligned askew relative to one another, where a distance between the central longitudinal axes of these outlet openings and the main longitudinal axis of the nozzle is initially reduced when seen in the outflow direction, without intersecting the central longitudinal axis, and increases again after passing through a minimum distance. Use for example in nozzles for evaporative cooling or for flue gas cleaning.
Claims15
A multi-hole or cluster nozzle having at least one supply for a liquid to be sprayed and at least one supply for a gaseous fluid and a mixing chamber for mixing said liquid and said gaseous fluid to provide a fluid to be atomized and having several outlet openings for said fluid to be atomized, with the fluid to be atomized passing through the outlet openings, wherein central longitudinal axes of at least two of the outlet openings are aligned askew relative to one another, wherein a distance between the central longitudinal axes of the outlet openings aligned askew relative to one another and a main longitudinal axis of the nozzle is initially reduced when seen in an outflow direction without intersecting the main longitudinal axis, and increases again after passing through a minimum distance.
A multi-hole or cluster nozzle having several outlet openings for a fluid to be atomized, wherein central longitudinal axes of at least two of the outlet openings are aligned askew relative to one another, wherein a distance between the central longitudinal axes of the outlet openings aligned askew relative to one another and a main longitudinal axis of the nozzle is initially reduced when seen in an outflow direction without intersecting the main longitudinal axis and increases again after passing through a minimum distance and further including a nozzle support element on which are arranged several individual nozzles projecting from the nozzle support element in an outflow direction, wherein the individual nozzles are surrounded at least at a level of the outlet openings thereof by an annular gap nozzle hood, such that an annular gap is formed between the individual nozzles and the annular gap nozzle hood at the level of the outlet openings.
A multi-hole or cluster nozzle having several outlet openings for a fluid to be atomized, wherein central longitudinal axes of at least two of the outlet openings are aligned askew relative to one another, wherein a distance between the central longitudinal axes of the outlet openings aligned askew relative to one another and a main longitudinal axis of the nozzle is initially reduced when seen in an outflow direction, without intersecting the main longitudinal axis and increases again after passing through a minimum distance, and further including a nozzle support element on which are arranged several individual nozzles projecting from the nozzle support element in the outflow direction, where the individual nozzles are arranged on a front side of the nozzle support element that is generally concave when viewed in the outflow direction.
