Abstract
A method for proactively creating an image-based product includes identifying a group of images and automatically creating a design for a image-based product without receiving a user's request if the number of images in the group is determined to be within a predetermined range. The image-based product incorporates a plurality of images in the group. The method further includes presenting the design of the image-based product to a user for preview and making a physical manifestation of the image-based product based on the design.
Claims20
A method for proactively creating an image-based product, comprising:
- identifying a group of images by a computer system from at least one of a plurality of image aggregation sources;
- automatically determining, by the computer system, if number of the images in the group is within a predetermined range, wherein the predetermined range depends on the image aggregation sources;
- automatically creating a design for an image-based product by the computer system without receiving a user's request for designing the image-based product, if the number of images in the group is determined to be within the predetermined range associated with the image aggregation source(s) for the group of images, wherein the image-based product incorporates one or more images in the group;
- presenting the design of the image-based product to a user for preview;
- and
- receiving an order from the user for a physical manifestation of the image-based product based on the design.
A method for proactively creating an image-based product, comprising:
- identifying a group of images by a computer system from at least one of a plurality of image aggregation sources;
- automatically determining, by the computer system, if number of the images in the group is within a predetermined range, wherein the predetermined range depends on the image aggregation sources;
- automatically selecting a format and a style for an image-based product by the computer system if the number of images in the group is determined to be within a predetermined range associated with the image aggregation source(s) for the group of images;
- automatically creating a design for the image-based product in the selected format and the style by the computer system without receiving a user's request for designing an image-based product using the group of images, wherein pages of the image-based product incorporates one or more images in the group;
- presenting the design of the image-based product to a user for preview;
- and
- receiving an order from the user for a physical manifestation of the image-based product based on the design.
