Abstract
A method for processing a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) in a wireless communication system based on a multiple access scheme is provided. The CSI-RS transmission method defines a plurality of CSI-RS patterns, assigns the CSI-RS patterns to individual cells, uses the CSI-RSs alternately per Physical Resource Block (PRB) so as to utilize the transmission powers of all antenna ports for transmitting CSI-RSs, transmits Coordinated Multi Point (CoMP) CSI-RSs and non-CoMP CSI-RSs separately, and mutes specific resources in association with the CSI-RS pattern of adjacent cells.
Claims24
A method for mobile communication by a User Equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving first information and second information, the first information related to first Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) and the second information indicating a muting position of a resource element within a resource block, a muting subframe interval, and a subframe offset;
- determining a first subframe in which a resource element is to be muted based on the muting subframe interval and the subframe offset;
- and
- receiving a first signal based on the muting position in the determined first subframe when the first signal includes a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH).
A method for mobile communication by a base station, comprising:
- generating first information and second information, the first information related to first Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) and the second information indicating a muting position of a resource element within a resource block, a muting subframe interval, and a subframe offset;
- transmitting the first information and the second information;
- and
- transmitting a first signal based on the muting position in a first subframe in which a resource element is to be muted based on the muting subframe interval and the subframe offset when the first signal includes a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH).
A User Equipment (UE), comprising:
- a receiver for receiving first information and second information, the first information related to first Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) and the second information indicating a muting position of a resource element within a resource block, a muting subframe interval, and a subframe offset;
- and
- a controller for determining a first subframe in which a resource element is to be muted based on the muting subframe interval and the subframe offset,
- wherein the receiver receives a first signal based on the muting position in the determined first subframe when the first signal includes a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH).
A base station, comprising:
- a controller for generating first information and second information, the first information related to first Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) and the second information indicating a muting position of a resource element within a resource block, a muting subframe interval, and a subframe offset;
- a transmitter for transmitting the first information and the second information and for transmitting a first signal based on the muting position in a first subframe in which a resource element is to be muted based on the muting subframe interval and the subframe offset when the first signal includes a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH).
