Abstract
Methods, systems, and apparatus include, in one aspect, a method including receiving from a controller a signal for controlling a device for rotating a machine-readable medium; and increasing a bandwidth of a transfer function corresponding to the controller by at least filtering the signal to compensate for a pole of the transfer function.

A method comprising:
- receiving from a controller a signal for controlling a device for rotating a machine-readable medium;
- and
- increasing a bandwidth of a transfer function corresponding to the controller by at least filtering the signal to compensate for a pole of the transfer function.
A system comprising:
- a device that rotates a machine-readable medium;
- a controller that manages the device with respect to rotating the machine-readable medium;
- and
- a filter circuit coupled with the controller, the filter circuit configured to:
- receive from the controller a signal for compensating for variations in characteristics associated with rotation of the machine-readable medium;
- and
- increase a bandwidth of a transfer function corresponding to the controller by compensating for a pole of the transfer function.

- an input element;
- an output element;

- processing circuitry coupled with the input element and the output element, the processing circuitry configured to:
- receive from a controller a signal for compensating for variations in characteristics associating with rotation of a machine-readable medium;
