Abstract
The present invention provides a transgenic rice event 17314 and plants, plant cells, seeds, plant parts, and commodity products derived from event 17314. The present invention also provides polynucleotides specific for event 17314 and plants, plant cells, seeds, plant parts, and commodity products comprising polynucleotides specific for event 17314. The invention also provides methods related to event 17314.

- 4 in a sample comprising:
- (a) contacting a sample with a DNA probe comprising a polynucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and complete complements thereof, wherein said DNA probe hybridizes under stringent hybridization conditions with a DNA molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 or SEQ ID NO:
- 4 and does not hybridize under the stringent hybridization conditions with a DNA molecule not comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 or SEQ ID NO:
- 4;
- (b) subjecting said sample and said DNA probe to stringent hybridization conditions;
- and
- (c) detecting hybridization of said DNA probe to said DNA molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 or SEQ ID NO:
