Abstract
Provided herein is a method for detection of migratory and invasive cancer cells based on a number of marker nucleic acids differentially expressed in migratory/invasive cancer cells relative to nonmigratory/noninvasive cancer cells. Also disclosed are antisense oligonucleotides of the marker nucleic acids and uses thereof for suppressing cancer cell migration and invasion.
Claims17
A method for contacting cancer cells with an oligonucleotide, comprising contacting the cancer cells with an effective amount of an oligonucleotide, wherein the oligonucleotide includes the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:6, the oligonucleotide having up to 25 nucleotides.
An isolated oligonucleotide, comprising the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:6, the oligonucleotide having up to 25 nucleotides.
An oligonucleotide conjugate, the oligonucleotide conjugate comprising (i) an oligonucleotide having up to 25 nucleotides and the sequence of SEQ ID NO:6, and (ii) one or more non-nucleic acid moieties attached to the oligonucleotide.
