Gas barrier layered product and method for producing the same

A gas barrier layered product comprising:

• a base;
• and
• at least one layer with gas barrier properties, the layer being stacked on the base, wherein
• the layer with gas barrier properties is formed of a composition that includes a hydrolyzed condensate of at least one type of compound (L) containing a hydrolyzable characteristic group, and a neutralized product of a polymer (X) containing at least one functional group selected from a carboxyl group and a carboxylic acid anhydride group,
• the compound (L) includes a compound (A) and a compound (B) that contains Si to which the hydrolyzable characteristic group is bonded,
• the compound (A) is at least one type of compound expressed by the following Formula (I):
• M1X1mY1n-m (I),
• where:
• M1 denotes any one selected from Al, Ti, and Zr;
• X1 denotes any one selected from F, Cl, Br, I, OR1, R2COO, R3COCH2COR4, and NO3;
• Y1 denotes any one selected from F, Cl, Br, I, OR5, R6COO, R7COCH2COR8, NO3 and R9;
• R1, R2, R5 and R6 each denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, independently;
• R3, R4, R7, R8 and R9 each denote an alkyl group, independently;
• n is equal to the valence of M1;
• and
• m denotes an integer of 1 to n,
• the compound (B) includes at least one type of compound expressed by the following Formula (II):
• Si(OR10)pR114-p-qX2q (II),
• where:
• R10 denotes an alkyl group;
• R11 denotes an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or an alkenyl group;
• X2 denotes a halogen atom;
• p and q each denote an integer of 0 to 4, independently;
• and
• 1≦p+q≦4,
• at least part of —COO— group contained in the functional group of the polymer (X) is neutralized with a metal ion having a valence of at least two, the percentage of the compound expressed by Formula (II) in the compound (B) is at least 80 mol %, and
• the composition has a ratio of [the number of moles of M1 atom derived from the compound (A)]/[the number of moles of Si atom derived from the compound (B)] in the range of 0.1/99.9 to 30.0/70.0.
