Method and device for generating a game directory on an electronic gaming device

An apparatus comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory including computer program code for one or more programs,
• the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least the following,
• detect a gaming device;
• determine one or more available games within the apparatus;
• cause, at least in part, a communication with the gaming device to determine one or more available games within the gaming device that are common to the one or more available games within the apparatus;
• determine a game list that specifies the common games;
• determine participant information relating to the apparatus and the gaming device;
• and
• cause, at least in part, presentation at the gaming device of one or more game identifiers of the common games and the participant information.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium carrying one or more sequences of one or more instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause an apparatus to at least perform the following steps:

• detecting a gaming device;
• determining one or more available games within the apparatus;
• causing, at least in part, a communication with the gaming device to determine one or more available games within the gaming device that are common to the one or more available games within the apparatus;
• determining a game list that specifies the common games;
• determining participant information relating to the apparatus and the gaming device;
• and
• causing, at least in part, presentation at the gaming device of one or more game identifiers of the common games and the participant information.
