Abstract
A vehicle seat has a mechanism for moving a headrest upon rear-end collision, comprising: a pressure receiving member for receiving a load of a rearward movement of an occupant; a transmitting element for transmitting the load received by the pressure receiving member to a headrest side; right and left headrest supporting members for supporting right and left pillars of the headrest; and a biasing member that biases the headrest; wherein the biasing member is disposed between the right and left pillars.
Claims25
A vehicle seat having a mechanism for moving a headrest upon rear-end collision, comprising:
- a headrest comprising right and left pillars;
- a pressure receiving member for receiving a load of a rearward movement of an occupant;
- a transmitting element for transmitting the load received by the pressure receiving member to a headrest side;
- right and left headrest supporting members for supporting the right and left pillars of the headrest;
- and
- a biasing member that biases the headrest;
- wherein:
- the biasing member is disposed between the right and left pillars;
- the right and left headrest supporting members are attached to a headrest supporting frame extending in a right-to-left direction;
- the biasing member is disposed below the headrest supporting frame and above the pressure receiving member;
- and
- the biasing member biases the headrest toward the direction of moving the headrest to an upright position.
A vehicle seat having a mechanism for moving a headrest upon rear-end collision, comprising:
- a headrest comprising right and left pillars;
- a pressure receiving member for receiving a load of a rearward movement of an occupant;
- a transmitting element for transmitting the load received by the pressure receiving member to a headrest side;
- right and left headrest supporting members for supporting the right and left pillars of the headrest;
- and
- a biasing member that biases the headrest;
- wherein:
- each of the right and left pillars includes a protruding portion that protrudes downward from a lower end of the respective headrest supporting member;
- and
- the biasing member is disposed at a same height as and between the right and left protruding portions.
A vehicle seat having a mechanism for moving a headrest upon rear-end collision, comprising:
- a headrest comprising right and left pillars;
