Abstract
An Ink jet recording ink composition contains a dispersion containing a pigment dispersible in water therein and having an average particle size in the range of 20 to 300 nm, water, and a polyurethane resin containing a compound expressed by formula (I) and/or a compound expressed by formula (II): where N represents an integer in the range of 1 to 6. where O+P+Q is an integer in the range of 0 to 6.
Claims12
An ink jet recording ink composition comprising:
- a dispersion containing a pigment dispersible in water, the dispersion having an average particle size in the range of 20 to 300 nm;
- water;
- and
- a polyurethane resin dispersion containing a compound expressed by formula (I) and a compound expressed by formula (II):
- HO—(CH2CH2O)N—H (I)
- wherein N represents an integer in the range of 1 to 6,
- wherein O+P+Q is an integer in the range of 0 to 6.
