Abstract
The present invention relates to wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification. The compound of the present invention has a superior RBP4-lowering action, and is useful as a medicament for the prophylaxis or treatment of disease and condition mediated by increased RBP4.

- R1 is an optionally substituted branched C3-6 alkyl group;
- X1 is O, S, SO, SO2 or NH;
- X2 is a bond or a C1-3 alkylene group;
- ring B is azetidine;
- X3 is CO or SO2;
- R2 is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, an optionally substituted hydroxy group, an optionally substituted mercapto group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an acyl group, or a halogen atom,
- provided that
- when X3 is CO, then R2 is not a tert-butoxy group,
- or a salt thereof.
