Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PHW2P and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprise crossing maize variety PHW2P with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PHW2P through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid maize seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the variety PHW2P or a locus conversion of PHW2P with another maize variety.

A seed of inbred maize variety PHW2P, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-120330.
A converted seed of inbred maize variety PHW2P, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-120330 further comprising a locus conversion, wherein said converted seed produces a plant having said locus conversion and otherwise having essentially the same phenotypic characteristics listed in Table 1 as inbred maize variety PHW2P when grown under the same environmental conditions.
