A method for treating Parkinson's disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of the following formula:
- in which R1 is —CH═CH—;
- R2 is —CH2—CH2—;
- A1 is 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl;
- A2 is phenyl;
- and each of X and Y, independently, is O.
A method for treating Parkinson's disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of the following formula:
- in which R1is —CH═CH—;
- R2 is —CH2—CH2—CH2—;
- A1 is 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl;
- A2 is phenyl;
- and each of X and Y, independently, is O.
A method for treating Parkinson's disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of the following formula:
- in which R1 is —CH═CH—;
- R2 is C1-3 alkylene;
- A2 is phenyl;
- A1 is a 3,4-disubstituted phenyl, wherein the substituents are —OH or —O(O)CR4, R4 being C1-4 alkyl, and each of X and Y, independently, is O.
