Abstract
The present invention provides a dual crosslinked biodegradable polymer and methods of making and using the polymer. The dual crosslinked biodegradable polymer composition includes a multifunctional monomer; a diol; and an unsaturated di-acid at least partially polymerized to form a network and photocrosslinked into a dual crosslinked polymer network.
Claims20
A crosslinked polymer composition comprising:
- a condensation reaction product of monomers consisting of citric acid;
- at least one diol;
- and at least one unsaturated di-acid, wherein the monomers are at least partially polymerized to form a network and crosslinked into a crosslinked polymer network.
A composite comprising:
- a polymer composition comprising the condensation reaction product of monomers consisting of citric acid, at least one diol, and at least one unsaturated di-acid, wherein the monomers are at least partially polymerized to form a network;
- and
- an inorganic material mixed with the network.
