Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- initially storing information in a region of a flash memory of an imaging apparatus, wherein the imaging apparatus further comprises (i) a printing portion, and (ii) a volatile memory configured to buffer data to be printed by the printing portion;
- and
- in response to the information stored in the flash memory no longer being required,
- (i) deleting the information from the region of the flash memory in which the information is stored, and
- (ii) in conjunction with the volatile memory, reusing the region of flash memory from which the information was deleted to also buffer data to be printed by the printing portion.

An imaging apparatus comprising:
- a printing portion;
- and
- a memory block, wherein the memory block includes
- a volatile memory configured to buffer data to be printed by the printing portion, and
- a flash memory configured to initially store information within a region of the flash memory,
- wherein in response to the information stored in the flash memory no longer being required, (i) the flash memory is configured to delete the information from the region of flash memory in which the information is stored, and (ii) the region of flash memory from which the information was deleted is configured to, in conjunction with the volatile memory, be reused to also buffer data to be printed by the printing portion.
