Abstract
A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate disposed to face each other, a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal layer provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a black matrix provided on the first substrate, where a display region for displaying an image and a frame region around the display region are defined, and in the frame region, the black matrix includes a plurality of light-blocking regions spaced apart from one another.
Claims6
A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
- a first and a second substrates disposed to face each other;
- a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal layer provided between the first and the second substrates;
- and
- a black matrix provided on the first substrate,
- wherein
- a display region for displaying an image and a frame region around the display region are defined,
- in the frame region, the black matrix includes a plurality of light-blocking regions spaced apart from one another, and
- each of the light-blocking regions is provided with a shift toward the display region with respect to a semiconductor device disposed in the frame region.
