Abstract
A polypeptide inhibiting binding between vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 and a vascular endothelial growth factor, a fusion protein including the same, and a method of preparing the fusion protein are disclosed.
Claims11
An isolated polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence of Formula I below, which inhibits binding between vascular endothelial cell growth factor receptor-2 and a vascular endothelial growth factor:
- <Formula I>
- His-Ile-X1-X2-Gly-Gln-Trp-Phe
- (SEQ ID NO:
- 37)
- wherein X1 denotes an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Asn, Thr, and Lys, and X2 denotes an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Ala and Asp.

An isolated fusion protein comprising:
- a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence of Formula I below which inhibits binding between vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 and a vascular endothelial growth factor;
- and an Fc region of an antibody:
- <Formula I>
- His-Ile-X1-X2-Gly-Gln-Trp-Phe
- (SEQ ID NO:
- 37)
- wherein X1 denotes an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Asn, Thr, and Lys, and X2 denotes an amino acid selected from the group consisting of Ala and Asp.
