Abstract
A method for producing a developing agent including preparing a dispersion liquid containing first fine particles containing a binder resin and second fine particles containing a color developable compound, a color coupler, and a color eraser, and aggregating the first and second fine particles in the dispersion liquid to form aggregated particles.

A toner comprising:
- a binder resin;
- an encapsulated color developed particle which is dispersed in the binder resin and include a color developable compound, a color coupler, and a color eraser;
- and
- release agent particles which are dispersed in the binder resin and each of which has a particle diameter smaller than a particle diameter of the encapsulated color developed particle.

A method for producing a toner comprising
- aggregating resin particles,
- an encapsulated color developed particles containing a color developable compound, a color coupler, and a color eraser, and
- release agent particles each of which has a particle diameter smaller than a particle diameter of the encapsulated color developed particle, to form the aggregated particles;
- fusing the aggregated particles.
