Abstract
Disclosed is a cyan toner for developing an electrostatic image containing a cyan colorant, and the cyan colorant comprises colorant compound X represented by Formula (1) and colorant compound Y represented by Formula (2). wherein M1 is a metal atom of Group 14, Q is independently a monovalent substituent, m and n are each 0 or 1, at least one of m and n is 1, and A is independently an atomic group forming an aromatic ring which may have a substituent, wherein, M2 is Zn or Al, and A is independently an atomic group forming an aromatic ring which may have a substituent.

A cyan toner for developing an electrostatic image comprises cyan toner particles containing a binder resin and a cyan colorant, wherein the cyan colorant comprises colorant compound X represented by Formula (1) and colorant compound Y represented by Formula (2),
- wherein M1 is a metal atom of Group 14, Q is independently a monovalent substituent, m and n are each 0 or 1, at least one of m and n is 1, and A is independently an atomic group forming an aromatic ring which may have a substituent,
- wherein, M2 is Zn or Al, and A is independently an atomic group forming an aromatic ring which may have a substituent.
