Abstract
An improved turfplaner system for leveling an area to a predetermined height is described. The turfplaner system includes a device capable of being transported over an area. The device includes a rotational elongated cutter with a first side and a second side and a control mechanism capable of independently altering a height of the first side of the rotational cutter and the second side of the rotational cutter relative to a predetermined height over the area.
Claims29
A turfplaner system comprising:
- a device capable of being transported over an area wherein said device comprises:
- a rotational elongated cutter comprising a first side and a second side;
- and
- a control mechanism capable of independently altering a height of said first side of said rotational cutter and said second side of said rotational cutter relative to a predetermined height over said area;
- and, the turfplaner system further comprising an autograde device wherein said autograde device follows a preexisting contour and said turfplaner adjust a first side height of said first side of said rotational cutter to mimic said preexisting contour.

A method for leveling an area comprising:
- providing a device capable of being transported over said area wherein said device comprises:
- a rotational elongated cutter comprising a first side and a second side;
- and
- a control mechanism capable of independently altering a height of said first side of said rotational cutter and said second side of said rotational cutter relative to a predetermined height over said area;
- and
- moving said device over said area wherein when said device is transported over
- said area said cutter removes any material above a fixed distance below said predetermined height.
