Gearbox for adjustment devices, especially in motor vehicles

A gearbox, comprising:

• a one-part worm drive made entirely from plastic;
• a circular, flat contact surface circling perpendicular to a worm axle and at least seven removal pockets attached axially to the worm drive between the contact surface and the worm axle and extending into a level in an interior of the worm drive below a level of the contact surface;
• and
• an encircling bevel capping a transition area from the level of the interior of the worm drive to the level of the contact surface, the removal pockets define a plurality of bars each including axial top surfaces, wherein the transition area axially overlaps the axial top surfaces.
