Abstract
A plunger relay includes a movable actuating element on which a first solenoid actuator is acting in force-transmitting manner. The plunger relay has at least one second solenoid actuator, which is acting on the same movable actuating element in force-transmitting manner, and whose magnetic force is able to be set independently of the magnetic force of the first solenoid actuator.
Claims15
A plunger relay, comprising:
- a movable actuating element on which a first solenoid actuator is actable in a force-transmitting manner;
- and
- at least one second solenoid actuator, which is actable on a same movable actuating element in a force-transmitting manner, and whose magnetic force is able to be set independently of a magnetic force of the first solenoid actuator;
- wherein the first solenoid actuator and the second solenoid actuator are each arranged as an individual winding section of a continuous winding, which has a tap that separates the winding section of the first solenoid actuator from the winding section of the second solenoid actuator.
A method for actuating a clutch with the aid of a magnetic force generated by a solenoid actuator device, the method comprising:
- providing the solenoid actuator device with one continuous winding having at least two winding sections;
- generating the magnetic force by the winding sections when energized;
- and
- separately energizing the winding sections.
A starter for a combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising:
- a plunger relay, wherein the plunger relay includes a movable actuating element on which a first solenoid actuator is actable in a force-transmitting manner, and at least one second solenoid actuator, which is actable on a same movable actuating element in a force-transmitting manner, and whose magnetic force is able to be set independently of a magnetic force of the first solenoid actuator;
- an electric starter motor;
- and
- a clutch;
- wherein the plunger relay is connected to the clutch for actuation, and the clutch supplies rotary power generated by the electric starter motor to the combustion engine as a function of the actuation, and
- wherein the first solenoid actuator and the second solenoid actuator are each arranged as an individual winding section of a continuous winding, which has a tap that separates the winding section of the first solenoid actuator from the winding section of the second solenoid actuator.
A control device for a starter of a combustion engine, comprising:
- a control arrangement which is arranged to output at least two different output signals, by which at least two different solenoid actuators of the starter, which act on a same actuating element, are able to be controlled independently of each other, wherein the starter includes:
- a plunger relay, wherein the plunger relay includes a movable actuating element on which a first solenoid actuator is actable in a force-transmitting manner, and at least one second solenoid actuator, which is actable on a same movable actuating element in a force-transmitting manner, and whose magnetic force is able to be set independently of a magnetic force of the first solenoid actuator;
- an electric starter motor;
- and
- a clutch;
- wherein the plunger relay is connected to the clutch for actuation, and the clutch supplies rotary power generated by the electric starter motor to the combustion engine as a function of the actuation.
