Digital predistortion training system

An apparatus comprising:

• a network interface device configured to enable communications over a network to communicate with a plurality of wireless devices configured for wireless communication;
• a processor configured to:
• identify a particular wireless device of the plurality of wireless devices for adjustment of predistortion parameters used by the particular wireless device when transmitting a signal;
• send commands to the particular wireless device and to one or more participating wireless devices to initiate a training session;
• receive measurement data from the one or more participating wireless devices based on reception of test transmissions from the particular wireless device during the training session;
• and
• determine predistortion parameters for use by the particular wireless device based on the measurement data received from the one or more participating wireless devices.

A tangible processor readable memory encoded with instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

• identify a particular wireless device of a plurality of wireless devices for adjustment of predistortion parameters used by the particular wireless device when transmitting a signal;
• send commands to the particular wireless device and to one or more participating wireless devices of the plurality of wireless devices to initiate a training session;
• receive measurement data from the one or more participating wireless devices based on reception of test transmissions from the particular wireless device during the training session;
• and
• determine predistortion parameters for use by the particular wireless device based on the measurement data received from the one or more participating wireless devices.
