Abstract
A reactive dye is disclosed. The reactive dye has the structure of formula (I): wherein X, R1, R2, R3, n, Q1, Q2 and (HO3S)1-3 are defined in the specification. The reactive dye of the present invention has great build-up property, reproducibility and fastness.

A reactive dye of a structure of formula (I):
- wherein X is carboxypyridinium;
- R1, R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, C1-4alkylcarbonyl, benzyl, C1-4hydroxyalkyl or sulfobenzyl;
- n is 0 or 1;
- Q1 and Q2 are independently hydrogen, sulfo, C1-4alkyl, C1-4alkoxy, C1-4alkanoylamino or ureido;
- and (HO3S)1-3 is 1 to 3 sulfo groups.
