Abstract
A cutting insert is provided. The cutting insert has a top surface, a side surface, and a bottom surface. An intersection between the top surface and the side surface defines a substantially circular cutting edge. The cutting edge includes at least one wiper edge and the side surface includes at least one wiper surface provided behind the wiper edge.

A cutting insert, the cutting insert having a top surface, a side surface, and a bottom surface, an intersection between the top surface and the side surface defining a substantially circular cutting edge, wherein the cutting edge comprises at least one wiper edge and the side surface comprises at least one wiper surface provided behind the wiper edge, wherein the wiper edge has a larger radius than a radius of the cutting edge.
