Abstract

In a portable electronic apparatus, a memory is provided to store a plurality of groups of messages. Each group of messages includes messages having the same meaning, which are expressed in different languages such as Japanese, English, and French. A user designates a main language corresponding to a mother tongue of the user and a sub-language corresponding to a language used in a travel destination area.
