Abstract
Image processing in which image data is input. The input image data is converted into first image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a first environment light and into second image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a second environment light. A color is specified which has a color difference between the first image data and the second image data, the color difference of the specified color being larger than a predetermined value. Information is output indicating the specified color.
Claims16
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- an input unit configured to input image data;
- a converting unit configured to convert the image data input by the input unit into first image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a first environment light and into second image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a second environment light;
- a specifying unit configured to specify a color which has a color difference between the first image data and the second image data converted by the converting unit, the color difference of the specified color being larger than a predetermined value;
- and
- an output unit configured to output information indicating the color specified by the specifying unit.
An image processing method comprising:
- inputting image data;
- converting the input image data into first image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a first environment light and into second image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a second environment light;
- specifying a color which has a color difference between the first image data and the second image data converted in the converting step, the color difference of the specified color being larger than a predetermined value;
- and
- outputting information indicating the specified color.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium which stores a computer-executable program for causing a computer to implement a method, the method comprising:
- inputting image data;
- converting the input image data into first image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a first environment light and into second image data defined by a color space depending on a characteristic of a second environment light;
- specifying a color which has a color difference between the first image data and the second image data converted in the converting step, the color difference of the specified color being larger than a predetermined value;
- and
- outputting information indicating the specified color.
