An optical film comprising at least one compound represented by formula (1):

• where Y11, Y12 and Y13 each independently represent methine or a nitrogen atom;
• R11, R12 and R13 each independently represent formula (A), (B) or (C) or a hydrogen atom, provided that at least two of R11, R12 and R13 each independently represent formula (A), (B) or (C),:
• where A11 and A12 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine A13, A14, A15 and A16 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine, provided that any hydrogen atom(s) in methine may be replaced with a group, -L11-L12-Q11;
• X1 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, methylene or imino;
• L11 represents a 5-membered heterocyclic group;
• L12 represents an alkylene or alkenylene, provided that one CH2 or two or more CH2 not adjacent to each other in the alkylene or alkenylene may be independently replaced with at least one selected from the group consisting of —O—, —COO—, —OCO—, —OCOO—, —CO—, —S—, —SO2—, —NR—, —NRSO2— and —SO2NR— where R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl, or provided that one hydrogen atom or two or more hydrogen atoms in the alkylene or the alkenylene may be replaced with one halogen atom or two or more halogen atoms;
• and Q11 represents a polymerizable group, a hydrogen atom, OH, COOH or a halogen atom:
• where A21 and A22 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine;
• A23, A24,A25 and A26 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine, provided that any hydrogen atom(s) in methine may be replaced with a group, -L21-L22-Q21 ;
• X2 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, methylene or imino;
• L21 represents a 5-membered heterocyclic group;
• L22 represents an alkylene or alkenylene, provided that one CH2 or two or more CH2 not adjacent to each other in the alkylene or alkenylene may be independently replaced with at least one selected from the group consisting of —O—, —COO—, —OCO—, —OCOO—, —CO—, —S—, —SO2—, —NR—, —NRSO2— and —SO2NR— where R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl, or provided that one hydrogen atom or two or more hydrogen atoms in the alkylene or the alkenylene may be replaced with one halogen atom or two or more halogen atoms;
• and Q21 represents a polymerizable group, a hydrogen atom, OH, COOH or a halogen atom:
• where A31 and A32 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine;
• A33, A34, A35 and A36 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or methine, provided that any hydrogen atom(s) in methine may be replaced with a group, -L31-L32-Q31;
• X3 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, methylene or imino;
• L31 represents a 5-membered heterocyclic group;
• L32 represents an alkylene or alkenylene, provided that one CH2 or two or more CH2 not adjacent to each other in the alkylene or alkenylene may be independently replaced with at least one selected from the group consisting of —O—, —COO—, —OCO—, —OCOO—, —CO—, —S—, —SO2—, —NR—, —NRSO2— and —SO2NR— where R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl, or provided that one hydrogen atom or two or more hydrogen atoms in the alkylene or the alkenylene may be replaced with one halogen atom or two or more halogen atoms;
• and Q31 represents a polymerizable group, a hydrogen atom, OH, COOH or a halogen atom.
