A collapsible book holder for holding a book in an open position comprising a pair of first and second sides comprising:
- (a) the first side comprising a first short leg and a first long leg, each having first and second ends and being moveably connected at said first ends by a first side connector adapted to permit movement of said first legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a first angle of less than 90 degrees;
- (b) and the second side comprising a second short leg and a second long leg, each having first and second ends and being moveably connected at said first ends by a second side connector adapted to permit movement of said second legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a second angle of less than 90 degrees;
- (c) a short leg connector connecting the second end of the first short leg to the second end of the second short leg adapted to permit movement of the said first and second short legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a third angle of greater than 90 degrees;
- and
- (d) a long leg connector connecting the second end of the first long leg to the second end of the second long leg adapted to permit movement of the said first and second long legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a fourth angle of greater than 90 degrees;
