Control of job information recording based on whether logged in user changes

A control method for a job processing apparatus which has an operation unit that receives an operation of a user, comprising:

• acquiring biological information of the user;
• storing, in a storing unit, the biological information acquired by said acquiring;
• determining whether a user who performs a new operation using said operation unit is same as a preceding user who has performed a preceding operation using said operation unit based on the biological information of the preceding user stored in said storing unit by said storing and the biological information of the user who performs the new operation acquired by said acquiring;
• and
• controlling, in a case where it is determined by said determining that the user who performs the new operation using said operation unit is not the same as the preceding user, not to record information of a job of the user who performs the new operation using said operation unit as history information of the preceding user.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer-executable control program for executing a control method for a job processing apparatus which has an operation unit that receives an operation of a user, the control program comprising:

• a code to acquire biological information of the user;
• a code to store, in a storing unit, the biological information acquired according to said code to acquire;
• a code to determine whether a user who performs a new operation using said operation unit is same as a preceding user who has performed a preceding operation using said operation unit based on the biological information of the preceding user stored in said storing unit according to said code to store and the biological information of the user who performs the new operation acquired according to said code to acquire;
• and
• a code to control, in a case where it is determined according to said code to determine that the user who performs the new operation using said operation unit is not the same as the preceding user, not to record information of a job of the user who performs the new operation using said operation unit as history information of the preceding user.
