Fibrous structures that exhibit a Geometric Mean Elongation of greater than 15.8% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method are provided.

An embossed multi-ply fibrous structure comprising a temporary wet strength agent but void of permanent wet strength agents, wherein the fibrous structure exhibits a Geometric Mean Elongation of greater than 15.8% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method and a Geometric Mean Modulus of greater than about 1015 g/cm at 15 g/cm as measured according to the Modulus Test Method.
