Abstract
A machine having a card processing assembly. The card processing assembly has a card drive and a heating device. The heating device is operable to cause a human-readable symbol to be viewable on a data card.
Claims14
An external card magazine comprising:
- a housing;
- at least one internal card magazine situated in the housing, the at least one internal card magazine configured to hold a plurality of data cards;
- a card magazine mouth connected to the housing and configured to engage a card mouth of a gaming device, the card magazine mouth configured to dispense one or more of the data cards to the card mouth of the gaming device and to receive one or more of the data cards from the card mouth of the gaming device;
- a card transport device situated in the housing and coupled to a power supply, the card transport device configured to transport one or more of the data cards from the at least one internal card magazine to the card magazine mouth and to transport one or more of the data cards from the card magazine mouth to the at least one internal card magazine;
- a processor;
- and
- a data interface coupled to the processor and configured to communicate with a data interface of the gaming device.
