Process gas purification device for a melt reduction system for extracting pig iron

A method for process gas cleaning of a smelting reduction installation for obtaining pig iron, comprising:

• removing blast-furnace gas from one or more reduction reactors by a first line system,
• removing generator gas from a melter gasifier by a second line system pre-cleaning and cooling the removed blast furnace gas and generator gas by one or more pre-scrubbing devices, leading the first and second line systems respectively to a wet scrubber system formed as an annular-gap scrubber system and in which the pre-cleaned and cooled blast-furnace gas or the pre-cleaned and cooled generator gas is subjected to scrubbing or cooling liquid;
• throttling the amount of throughflow of the pre-cleaned and cooled blast-furnace gas or of the pre-cleaned and cooled generator gas by one or more control elements varying a control gap and collecting and removing the scrubbing or cooling liquid mixed with impurities of the pre-cleaned and cooled blast-furnace gas or of the pre-cleaned and cooled generator gas;
• passing the pre-cleaned and cooled blast-furnace gas by the first wet scrubber system and subjecting the blast-furnace gas to scrubbing or cooling liquid and passing the pre-cleaned and cooled generator gas by second wet scrubber system and subjecting the generator gas to scrubbing or cooling liquid and feeding the gas to a common droplet separating device, passing the blast-furnace gas by the first wet scrubber system and passing the generator gas by the second wet scrubber system, the gases already being brought together before entry into a droplet separating device.
