Devices and methods for enhancing bone growth

An implantable dental device for implanting within a subject's mouth, comprising:

• a 3 dimensional trabecular meshwork structure configured to promote bone growth and having a plurality of interconnected cells configured for receiving bone graft material therein, the structure having a length extending between a first end and a second end, a height extending between a top side and a bottom side extending along a vertical axis, a width extending between a facial side and a lingual side extending along a horizontal axis, the bottom side affixable to a base edge of an alveolar bone, the structure configured for permanent placement within the patient's jaw bone;
• a plurality of root-form implants formed integral with the meshwork structure, the root-form implants having a substantially cylindrical body, at least a portion of the cylindrical body of at least one of the root-form implants configured for at least partial penetration within the patient's jaw bone;
• at least one fixating surface on a surface of the structure and extending from the bottom side of the structure on the facial side or lingual side in a direction opposite the to surface, the at least one fixating surface configured with at least one opening extending in a direction approximately perpendicular to the vertical axis for receiving at least one fixating element for operatively and fixedly attaching the structure to a patient's jawbone;
• and
• a plurality of prosthesis receiving surfaces, each of the prosthesis receiving surfaces disposed adjacent a corresponding root-form implant for receiving a corresponding number of prostheses thereon.
