Mobile phone

A mobile phone comprising:

• a plurality of optical sensors;
• a plurality of display elements;
• a pixel circuit portion where a plurality of pixels and a plurality of transistors are arranged, wherein each of the plurality of pixels includes one of the plurality of optical sensors and one of the plurality of display elements;
• an optical sensor control circuit connected to an optical sensor driver circuit, wherein the optical sensor driver circuit is configured to drive the plurality of optical sensors and read a signal from each of the plurality of optical sensors;
• a display portion control circuit connected to a display element driver circuit, wherein the display element driver circuit is configured to drive the plurality of display elements;
• a gradient detection portion which is configured to detect whether a gradient of the mobile phone from a viewpoint is longitudinal or lateral, and to output a signal in accordance with the gradient;
• and
• an arithmetic circuit which is configured to perform a display in the pixel circuit portion by switching an image signal output to the display portion control circuit with the signal in accordance with the gradient.

A mobile phone comprising:

• a plurality of optical sensors;
• a plurality of display elements;
• a pixel circuit portion where a plurality of pixels and a plurality of transistors are arranged, wherein each of the plurality of pixels includes one of the plurality of optical sensors and one of the plurality of display elements;
• an optical sensor control circuit connected to an optical sensor driver circuit, wherein the optical sensor driver circuit is configured to drive the plurality of optical sensors and read a signal from each of the plurality of optical sensors;
• a display portion control circuit connected to a display element driver circuit, wherein the display element driver circuit is configured to drive the plurality of display elements;
• a gradient detection portion which is configured to detect whether a gradient of the mobile phone from a viewpoint is in a first state, a second state, or a third state, and to output a signal in accordance with the gradient;
• and
• an arithmetic circuit which is configured to perform a display in the pixel circuit portion by switching an image signal output to the display portion control circuit with the signal in accordance with the gradient.
