The invention features compositions, methods, and kits useful for the treatment of filovirus-mediated diseases, e.g., hemorrhagic fever caused by Ebola virus, in an animal.

A composition comprising clomiphene citrate and sertraline HCl wherein clomiphene and sertraline HCl are present in amounts that, when administered together to a patient with a filovirus-mediated disease, are effective to treat said patient.
