Airbag device for saddle-ride type vehicle

A saddle-ride vehicle, said vehicle comprising:

• a head pipe;
• left-side and right-side frame members extending backward and obliquely downward from the head pipe;
• an airbag configured to protect a rider;
• and
• a pair of detectors configured to detect any impact working on a body to actuate the airbag, wherein one detector of said pair of detectors is configured to be mounted on the left-side frame member and another detector of said a pair of detectors is configured to be mounted on the right-side frame member, said frame members forming a part of a vehicle frame,
• wherein said frame members are provided with main frames extending backward from the head pipe, and a pair of left and right pivot frames are connected behind the main frames,
• wherein the left and right detectors are configured to be disposed on the frame members between the head pipe and a pivot shaft of the pivot frames, and
• wherein the left and right detectors are arranged above the pivot shaft of the pivot frames in a vertical direction.

An airbag device for a saddle-ride vehicle, said airbag device comprising:

• airbag means for protecting a rider;
• detecting means for detecting any impact working on a body to actuate the airbag means, wherein said detecting means comprises a first detector mounted on a left side of a vehicle frame and a second detector mounted on a right side of the vehicle frame,
• wherein frame members are provided with main frames extending backward from a head pipe, and a pair of left and right pivot frames are connected behind the main frames,
• wherein the left and right detectors are configured to be disposed on the frame members between the head pipe and a pivot shaft of the pivot frames, and
• wherein the left and right detectors are arranged above the pivot shaft of the pivot frames in a vertical direction.
