Drive unit, drive system and conveyor installation for skid supporting an object

A drive unit for driving a skid, comprising:

• a chassis;
• and,
• a coupling device by means of which a skid can be coupled detachably to the chassis of the drive unit,
• wherein the drive unit is self-propelling and wherein the coupling device includes:
• a first catch element which cooperates with a retaining element of a skid and the catch element has a catch face and is arranged on an axis of rotation parallel to a conveying direction with the catch face perpendicular to the conveying direction
• a second catch element which is spaced from the first catch element in the conveying direction and is arranged on a spindle with its catch face in a plane parallel to the catch face of the first catch element.
