Electronic apparatus, reproduction control system, reproduction control method, and program therefor

A reproduction control system, comprising:

• a first electronic apparatus including
• a generator configured to generate a first content and a second content, each of which includes a plurality of scenes,
• an extractor configured to extract, from each of the plurality of scenes of the generated first content and the generated second content, a meta-information item indicating a feature of each of the plurality of scenes, and
• a transmitter configured to transmit the first content and the second content together with the meta-information items;
• and
• a second electronic apparatus including
• a receiver configured to receive the transmitted first content, the transmitted second content, and the transmitted meta-information items,
• a storage configured to store the received first content, the received second content, and the received meta-information items,
• a reproducer configured to reproduce the first content and the second content,
• an operation receiver configured to receive an input of an operation by a user, and
• a controller configured to control the storage to store an operation-history information item indicating an operation history of the user for each of the plurality of scenes during reproduction of the first content while the operation-history information item is associated with the meta-information item of each of the plurality of scenes, to calculate a similarity between each of the plurality of scenes of the first content and each of the plurality of scenes of the second content based on the meta-information items, and to control the reproducer to change a reproduction mode for each of the plurality of scenes based on the operation-history information item and the calculated similarity during reproduction of the second content.

A reproduction control method, comprising:

• storing a first content and a second content, each of which includes a plurality of scenes, and meta-information items each indicating a feature of each of the plurality of scenes of the first content and the second content;
• reproducing the first content and the second content;
• storing an operation-history information item indicating an operation history of the user for each of the plurality of scenes during reproduction of the first content while the operation-history information item is associated with the meta-information item of each of the plurality of scenes;
• calculating a similarity between each of the plurality of scenes of the first content and each of the plurality of scenes of the second content based on the meta-information items;
• and
• changing a reproduction mode for each of the plurality of scenes based on the operation-history information item and the calculated similarity during reproduction of the second content.

A program embedded on a non-transitory computer readable medium to cause an electronic apparatus to execute the steps of:

• storing a first content and a second content, each of which includes a plurality of scenes, and meta-information items each indicating a feature of each of the plurality of scenes of the first content and the second content;
• reproducing the first content and the second content;
• storing an operation-history information item indicating an operation history of the user for each of the plurality of scenes during reproduction of the first content while the operation-history information item is associated with the meta-information item of each of the plurality of scenes;
• calculating a similarity between each of the plurality of scenes of the first content and each of the plurality of scenes of the second content based on the meta-information items;
• and
• changing a reproduction mode for each of the plurality of scenes based on the operation-history information item and the calculated similarity during reproduction of the second content.
