Abstract
The invention makes use of an exhaust gas catalyst, comprising an active component comprising at least one type of metal from noble metals and transition metals; NOx-absorbing material for absorbing and releasing nitrogen oxides according to the surrounding nitrogen oxide concentration; and compounds represented by A2O2SO4 and/or A2O2S (A is a rare earth element).
Claims7
An exhaust gas cleaning catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas by redox, the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst comprising:
- at least one type of metal of noble metals and transition metals;
- NOx-absorbing material for absorbing and releasing nitrogen oxides according to the surrounding nitrogen oxide concentration;
- and
- an oxygen absorbing and releasing material comprising a compound represented by A2O2SO4 and/or A2O2S (A is a rare earth element), wherein
- the at least one type of metal and the NOx-absorbing material are located in a same layer and are supported on the oxygen absorbing and releasing material.
