The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of a therapeutical composition, in particular, the present invention relates to a method for treating dendritic cells with a combination of at least one interferon gamma receptor agonist and at least one toll like receptor 2 and/or TLR 6 agonist and using these pretreated dendritic cells for the preparation of a therapeutical composition. Moreover, the present invention relates to a therapeutical composition containing dendritic cells and the use thereof for the treatment of various diseases and disorders.
Claims6
A method of treating asthma, comprising the steps of
- a) culturing dendritic cells (DC) in the presence of
- interferon (IFN)-gamma, and
- at least one TLR2 or TLR6 agonist selected from the group of macrophage activating lipopeptide 2 (MALP-2), S-[2,3-bis(palmitoyloxy)-(2S)-propyl-L-cysteinyl-carboxy-polyethyleneglycol and S-[2,3-bis(palmitoyloxy)-(2R)-propyl-L-cysteinyl-carboxy-polyethyleneglycol, and
- optionally further ingredients,
- wherein said DC are transformed into activated DC, and
- b) separating said activated DC from the resulting culture mixture, and
- c) administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of said activated DC.
