Abstract
The present invention relates generally to tissue differentiation factor (TDF) analogs. More specifically, the invention relates to structure-based methods and compositions useful in designing, identifying, and producing molecules which act as functional modulators of TDF-like receptors. The invention further relates to methods of detecting, preventing, and treating TDF-associated disorders.
Claims10
A purified polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO:221.
A purified polypeptide for use in treating a tissue differentiation factor-associated disorder or disease, wherein the compound comprises the amino acid sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO:221.
A device comprising an implantable medical device having a coating wherein the coating consists of the amino acid sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO:221, and wherein the device, when implanted into a mammal, treats or prevents a disorder in the mammal.
