Abstract
A cationized hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof includes a quaternary ammonium group-containing group, and has a degree of cationization of 0.15 to 0.6.
Claims22
A cationized hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof comprising a group shown by the following general formula (1) and having a degree of cationization of 0.15 to 0.6,
- wherein R1 to R3 individually represent hydrocarbon groups, and X− represents a monovalent anion.
A method of producing a cationized hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof comprising reacting hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof with a cationizing agent in a water-containing medium, the water-containing medium being a base.
A cationized hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof shown by the following general formula (2),
- wherein R4 to R9 individually represent a hydrogen atom or a group shown by the following general formula (1), and n represents an integer from 2 to 5000,
- wherein R1 to R3 individually represent hydrocarbon groups, and X− represents a monovalent anion.
