Abstract
The present disclosure provides azeotropic and azeotrope-like compositions comprised of methylperfluoroheptene ethers and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene. The present disclosure also provides for methods of use for the azeotropic and azeotrope-like compositions.
Claims23
An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition comprising methylperfluoroheptene ethers and an effective amount of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene.
A method for removing residue from a surface of an article comprising:
- a. contacting said surface with a composition comprising an azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition of methylperfluoroheptene ethers and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene;
- and
- b. recovering said surface from the composition.
