Abstract
A storage medium storing a character recognition program for causing a computer to execute a process, the process including comparing a structure of a target pattern regarded as one character with a structure of a one-character pattern stored in a storage section and determining whether the target pattern is a pattern including a plurality of characters, on the basis of a result of the comparing.

A non-transitory storage medium storing a character recognition program for causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
- comparing a structure of a target pattern regarded as one character with a structure of a one-character pattern stored in a storage section;
- and
- determining whether the target pattern is a pattern including a plurality of characters based on the comparing.
A character recognition method, comprising:
- comparing, by a processor, a structure of a target pattern regarded as one character with structures of a plurality of one-character patterns stored in a storage section;
- and
- determining whether the target pattern is a pattern including a plurality of characters based on the comparing.
A character recognition apparatus, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor, by executing a procedure in the memory, configured to:
- compare a structure of a target pattern regarded as one character with structures of a plurality of one-character patterns stored in a storage section;
- and
- determine whether the target pattern is a pattern including a plurality of characters based on a result of the comparison.
