Abstract
An LED lamp has one or more red LEDs, one or more green LEDs, and one or more white LEDs. The plurality of LEDs produces light that is mixed to produce a combined light output that has color approximating that of a blackbody radiator and having a correlated color temperature of 3,800 to 5,400 Kelvin.

A Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamp, comprising:
- one or more red LEDs,
- one or more green LEDs, and
- one or more white LEDs,
- excluding yellow LEDs,
- wherein the LEDs produce light that is mixed to produce a combined light output that has color approximating that of a blackbody radiator and having a correlated color temperature of 3,800 to 5,400 Kelvin.
